From the crowded basement of founder Dave Nguyen back in 2006 to the opening of our Falls Church office, AASuccess has emerged as a powerful organization to invest in future leaders, one group of students at a time. By cultivating the values of leadership and teaching soft skills, we nurture the spirit of giving back into young professionals both in the United States and in Vietnam.
AASuccess offers young students and professionals year-round mentorship on leadership and professional skills, while providing resources and guidance to help them manifest their community giving back ideas into a reality. We create a safe environment where students can challenge themselves without the fear of failure.
Growing up, children are raised into a fixed routine of life: They are taught to perform well academically and secure a stable job to provide for a family in order to have a life well-lived. At AASuccess, we want to make each individual’s journey even more impactful and meaningful to them by fostering the skills set to not only become successful in their personal, career, and social careers, but also know how to pass and share their resources forward to those around them. By nurturing the spirit of giving back at a young age, we teach students to be more giving, and spread the humanitarian values and act of kindness as they cruise through their journey in life. We teach them to take control of their lives instead of merely flowing with the current of it.
AASuccess believes in inspiring and allowing every student to innovate as we perfect the act of giving back. We offer year-round mentorship while providing resources and guidance to help them reach their personal and career goals through student-run projects.
Our services are holistic, including mentoring, providing seminars, facilitating internships, creating projects, training soft skills for young people of all backgrounds; and long term support to become successful in their career and assume a role of leadership in giving back to their communities.
While taking care of each student’s immediate needs, we invest in community development and long-term change on a systemic scale. Everything we learn from our individual feedback and innovation feeds into our work on mentoring, character development, and training programs.
We work with young people from all backgrounds, from elementary school to high school, to budding professionals.
We provide a platform to empower students and allow them to not only develop ideas but see them through. Our work has no end date, as long as the student still wishes to grow and learn with us.
From our very small beginnings we have grown to an organization of dedicated staff and business support community serving over 100 children both in the US and Vietnam.
